Emergency Services

|
Emergency Services provides dynamic care for a variety of patients. Being close to ski resorts in the winter and camping and water sports in the summer, requires nurses to be prepared for many types of emergencies. Emergency Department staff works closely with emergency medicine physicians and Amador County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel.
An onsite heliport provides air transportation to and from hard-to-reach mountain locations and transports critical patients who require specialized care to trauma centers in nearby cities.
