Sutter Amador Hospital Auxiliary

Sutter Amador Hospital currently has over 100 Auxiliary volunteers who dedicate over 20,000 hours of service to hospital patients and staff each year.
The Auxiliary program is a volunteer service to Sutter Amador Hospital and to the people of the community it serves. Not only do Auxiliary members contribute thousands of service hours to the hospital, they also contribute financially to the hospital as well. Funds raised by the Auxiliary are returned to the hospital in the form of needed medical equipment or other materials needed for patient care services.
Over the years, the Auxiliary has alos provided many scholarships for nursing students and others studying a clinical field.

Auxiliary Thrift Shop
|
The Auxiliary Thrift Shop is operated entirely by volunteer Auxiliary members. They accept donations of gently used household and clothing items. Money earned at the Thrift Shop is used in a variety of ways including donations to Sutter Amador Hospital and scholarships.

Hospital Gift Shop
|
Like the Thrift Shop, the Gift Shop is operated entirely by volunteer Auxiliary members. The Gift Shop provides hospital staff, patients and visitors with a wide variety of fresh flowers, cards, stuffed animals, gifts and candy.

Membership Information

Those interested in joing the Sutter Amador Hospital Auxiliary should call the Gift Shop at 223-7514.
Applications to join the Auxiliary are also available in the front lobby of the hospital. All volunteers must complete a drug screen and a tuberculosis test. Auxiliary dues are $5.00 a year.
